*IMPORTANT: It is likely that this course will be taking place during its usual times in an online classroom (via BigBlueButton). Please only sign up for this class if you are able and willing, and in possession of the necessary equipment (stable internet connection, microphone, webcam) in order to accomplish this.

AELP Speaking is one of the two compulsory courses needed to pass the V4 module (together with AELP Writing). Please note that you are only eligible to take AELP courses if you have passed the whole B3 module (IELP I, IELP II and the Achievment Test).

AELP Speaking will provide you with a framework for developing the skills that will allow you to produce stylistically adequate and grammatically correct speech. It gives you an understanding of what it takes to improve your spoken English by using appropriate collocations, correct intonation, pronunciation, specific attributes of spoken English, and to use topic-appropriate lexis. Course sessions will be founded on audio and video material which students will be required to prepare prior to the sessions, by noting and memorising useful vocabulary and structural items for use in the discussions. The content of these materials will also form the basis for additional rhetorical discourse. The course will be assessed by means of end-of-term oral examinations.

Diese Veranstaltung gehört zum Anmeldeset "IfAA AELP Speaking SS 2021".
Folgende Regeln gelten für die Anmeldung:
  • Die Anmeldung zu maximal 1 Veranstaltungen des Anmeldesets ist erlaubt.
  • Es wird eine festgelegte Anzahl von Plätzen in den Veranstaltungen verteilt.
    Die Plätze in den betreffenden Veranstaltungen wurden am 08.03.2021 um 23:59 verteilt. Weitere Plätze werden evtl. über Wartelisten zur Verfügung gestellt.
  • Die Anmeldung ist möglich von 01.03.2021, 08:00 bis 25.04.2021, 23:59.
