Kommentar/Beschreibung

The seminar aims at bringing together a small group of advanced MA students (5-10) with a strong interest in empirical research and (at least) a basic knowledge of quantitative methods and statistical software (Stata or R). It has a strong practical focus and aims at familiarizing students with all elements of the research process. Students will jointly develop a research question, suggest a theoretical argument, collect empirical data, implement a statistical analysis and draft a research paper.
