Dear Cognitive Science Master Students,

please read all information carefully!

All applications for study projects will be submitted via this Stud.Ip course this year. We hope this way the process will be more transparent and smoother for participants and instructors alike.

You find an overview of the study projects and links to more information in the Vips.
Please indicate the three Study Projects you would like to join in the Vip "Pick your Study Projects" and complete the self-assessment for each choice (for some you are asked to upload a motivational letter or additional material) until Sunday, 5.10.25. (11.59 pm). Please, only fill out the Vips if you want to start your study project in WS 25/26.

We will review your preferences and assign students to projects by 12.10.25 – the day before lectures start. You will then be notified via email and automatically enrolled in the course on Stud.Ip. If you do not meet the criteria for your selected study projects we will get in touch and discuss your options.

As a reminder, here are information about Study Projects:
- Only open for Cognitive Science Master Students
- One Study Project has to be done for two consecutive semesters. It's not possible to do two different ones for one semester each.
- It's recommended to do the Study Project in the second and third semester
- You can only do one Study Project. It is not possible to attend two. You cannot get ECTS, not even for your Free Electives, when doing a second one.
- Some Study Projects offer a accompanying seminar (Begleitseminar). These can be attended for one (or two) semester(s) and award you 6 ECTS per semester. Begleitseminare are not included in this distribution course.
