Kommentar/Beschreibung

This is a support seminar for the study project on "Product identification from images and videos". It is highly recommended for participants of the project, but also open to other interested students.

In the seminar, we will study different methods of object classification and recognition using neural networks. The topics include, but are not limited to: convolutional and recurrent neural networks, existing networks for classification (AlexNet, SqueezeNet, …), PixelRNN, object detection with neural networks, efficient training of networks in distributed computing frameworks, etc.
